We were in the neighborhood and being a little hungry we stopped in for lunch. We were promptly seated and greeted by a very charming young lady named Carissa. She gave us the full gamut and we explained we've been here before and love the place. I asked what looked good and she went over the menu with us. We ordered a few martinis "to take off the edge" so to speak. They were delicious and whetted our appetites. Started with fried calamari which we devoured. We each ordered a different pasta dish. One was fettucine alfredo and the other eggplant parmigiana. Both classics and Carissa told us that we can order a complimentary dish to take home. Wasn't expecting that but a very nice and welcome surprise. The meal was wonderful and Carissa made it all the better by being so attentive. Kept our water glasses full and inquired if we needed anything else. We've been here before and obviously we will be here again. Compliments to the chef, the bartender and to Carissa. Great service! Thanks for a delightful and enjoyable lunch!

My husband & I went to Maggianos in Boca Raton, Fl. We started out with a delicious salad withonions, olives, croutons & peppers. It was family style. We then had a delicious spinach dip with crusty Italian bread, stuffed mushrooms with pesto sauce, & cheese. The entree was ravioli with a pesto sauce, & fresh tomatoes. The raviolis were firm. The chicken Marsala was delicious, smothered with button mushrooms. They also served salmon which we did not eat. The dessert was apple cobbler, with Carmel sauce, & vanilla ice cream. They also served chocolate Bon, Bons which were rich with chocolate icing. I would give them a 4 star rating, & will go there again.

Went here tonight for a birthday. The calamari appetizer wasn't spectacular. Overfried and no taste. The chicken piccata was good. The real winner was their dessert sample: Tiramisu, cheesecake with strawberry sauce, apple crostada, creme brule, and chocolate zucotta bites! Individual portions that you can share with 2-3 people. If you get anything, get this!

Surprisingly good and exceptionally economical. The menu has a variety of all you can eat (and bring home an extra dinner) options which my group took advantage of. Our meal was not perfect, but our server was a real pro and the platters kept coming long after we were full. I don't consider this kind of restaurant "fine dining" but for a fun dinner when you're very hungry, Maggiano's can't be beat.

So this is like one of my favorite Italian places to go for dinner. Tonight though...kinda pissed me off. So we get there on a Saturday night which we knew it was going to be busy which it was. We check in. They said 45 minute wait. We went to the mall. Walked around and came back in 40 minutes and lady said it's very busy. Prob be another 10-15 minutes. So we r like grrr. Ok we will get a drink and stand in this busy bar area. So we got there 703pm. Came back round 740 and after we finished our drinks and chatting. It was now 815. Way passed time. So we asked the hostesses and she's like sorry. Sir u are 2nd in line. I'm like ok. Thanks. We watched 2 parties get seated and they still didn't call us. So I finally went up to this manager looking woman who happened to be the beverage manager and she was like well I see that you are 3rd in line and I was like how did we move backwards when 15 minutes ago I was 2nd and two parties went in already! Time is now 902pm. She immediately sat us and in the dining area. There was many Many tables open. There happened to be like 5 big parties going on in the back and upstairs but that's not fair to guests like me who just happened to want to enjoy dinner for a party of 2. So Anyways. She apologized. Offered us free drinks. Big whoop. And that's it. Really friendly but then more downhill. Our server who looked stressed. Took our order. All at once Because we sat for a little before he came and then our appetiZer came out and finished and our meals came out and finished. Never saw the waiter till we almost finished meals because they have runners and bussers who bring the food out and clean up the plates. So after we finished. Waited another 10 minutes till server came and was like so dessert. I'm like no the check please and that's the end of it. Time was now 1007 pm 3 hours for pasta For being one of my favorite places. I wasn't happy at this location.

We've eaten here too many times to count! We've had small dinners, several large family functions in their private function rooms and we've also had takeout. We have never been disappointed. The food is consistently great and you're smart to order "family style." A reservation is a must. They are always busy.

Excellent service, impressive ambiance, great value for the price, I ordered the eggplant parmesan, it was delicious with not to much cheese like everyone expects, and they send you home with another complete meal for dinner tomorrow!!!! Amazing , well done !

Maggiano's is one of the best restaurants in town. Fabulous food almost always wonderful. The Lasagna is classic. The pasta is cooked perfectly. Excellent service, very clean, great parking. I love it. They give huge portions of everything. I can't find anything to criticize. Probably the best Italian food in Florida if not the entire world. Their spaghetti is almost as good as mine.

Besides copious delicious 2-for1 plates, they match $10 make-a-wish donations and give you 1-1 coupons; great marketing, great cause (even though Disney should be boatin' those kids for free), fun night with a touch of happy!

My boyfriend & I had a gift card for either Macaroni grill, Chillis, On the Boarder or here. After reading a couple of bad reviews for the other places and great ones for here we decided to eat here. The food was absolutely great. The place itself is super adorable too. I would highly recommend this place for family dinners, dates, etc.

This is always a good lunch option for a business lunch or just for a group of friends or co-workers to enjoy some good food. I really like their daily special where you can enjoy a Classic Pasta while you eat in the restaurant, and then take one home at no charge to eat later. This is only $12.95 and is a bargain to me -- it's literally two meals for a decent price. My only challenge is that sometimes we've had to ask for our bill when dining with friends who only have an hour for lunch. They tend to run a bit long, but it CAN be done in an hour if you give them a heads up at the start of your meal.

Thomas was our server for the evening, did a great job. Ensured our food came out on time and the price is AMAZING ! (2 meals for $14, one to eat there and one to-go.) Manager came to our table due to a little confusion and gave us a complimentary desert, he was very nice and hospitable. Will definetly return ! Thank you guys !!

Lunch yesterday at Maggiano's exceeded ALL my expectations. The ambience is classy, with large sepia old-time family photos on the walls. The service was professional, intuitive, and practically instantaneous. From the moment we three ladies were seated (in a comfortable semicircular leather booth), we were treated as honored guests. First were chunks of fresh Italian bread, with good-quality olive oil and the most delicious finely-grated parmesan I've ever had. So tasty! Then, the entrees: Maggiano's has a wonderful twofer, and we all took advantage of the offer. One meal to eat, and another to take home. With a total of six different dishes, there wasn't a bad one in the bunch! I had the eggplant parmesan, and my mouth is watering today, just thinking about it. It was cooked perfectly. The spaghetti underneath was al dente, with a delicious, tangy marinara sauce over all. Lovely cloves of roasted garlic and fresh basil gave texture and brightened individual bites. The take-home dish (baked ziti) came temptingly packed in a container with a clear lid, through which I saw lots of fresh shredded mozzarella on top. Reheating instructions are on the website. I heated half in an individual stone crock for my son, who is always on a quest for the perfect baked ziti. He raved about his dinner and can't wait to enjoy the rest of it. All in all, Maggiano's gave us the perfect dining experience. All chain restaurants should take a cue from this place. I can't wait to go back!

We originally loved this place, but the past two experiences have left a sour note. On our last visit, we made reservations through Open Table. When we arrived, several employees stood by chatting, walked past us, and not one of them said one word to us. When the hostess finally came to the front, she took us to a table right outside the kitchen door. The table was sitting half on the carpet and wobbled. When we asked if she could give us s more comfortable spot, she took us to another table. This table was slanted and felt as though our plates would slide right off. The waiter came, looking like he was high or drunk or something. He took our drink order, and after waiting 15 minutes waiting for him to return, we left. When we got home, we received an email from Open Table that our reservation had been canceled by the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous. They obviously don't care about their patrons. We won't be back. We found a much better place.

Try the Lighter Take menu. It is far less calories, yet excellent flavor and a reasonable value relative to the full menu. The general menu items are very generous and all items well prepared.

Service service service, was not there tonight. I have been here before and had no issue, but tonight our server just did not care to be at work. When we have previously plated food, one needs to remove those plates before bring out the next course of plated food.

The best in terms of higher end chain restaurants. Maggiano's has excellent quality Italian food served in a nice atmosphere at affordable prices. Just to start with the food, almost everything I've had here is superb, but here are just a few of the best: *Warm Apple Crostata: My favorite dessert I've ever had anywhere, a must. Warm cinnamon apples sliced up, and wrapped in a sugary crust, all topped with vanilla ice cream with mint on top. *Rigatoni D: Delicious and a personal favorite. The cream sauce is divine without being too heavy and it has a perfect blend of onions and mushrooms with pasta and chicken. A must have. *Spaghetti and Meatball: The most simple Italian dish to imagine, yet Maggianos manages to make this one of the most delicious items on their menu. The meatball it comes with is huge, and the most flavorful meatball ever. The meat sauce is comprised of actual high quality tasting meat, and the spagetti is well cooked. Pricing here is really great for what you get. The classic pastas are buy one, take one home, so basically for $13 you get two meals, and the portion sizes make it so that you probably get way more than that. The family style meals are also a fantastic deal depending on how much food you get and take home. The light family style meal is around $20 something, which is a ton of great food. Even for the other meals the prices are pretty fair, whereas many other restaurants deliver less quality, and less quantity for a higher price. Atmosphere is a more upscale Italian restaurant, and they have a huge space for large parties. Service here has always been on point with waiters coming over quickly and constant service for refilling water and such. Maggiano's is as good as it gets in the chain restaurant industry, and it is one of my favorite locations to eat at anytime. Food (A-), Pricing (B+), Atmosphere (A-), Service (B+)
very disappointed was there a year ago for dinner was very good. Today not so good service very slow and you ask for something and you don't get it like some lemons with my water, then apps took over 20 min dinner took another 20 min my wife asked for some grilled chicken with a side if penne with sauce it took 10 min for her side to come out by the time it came out the chicken was cold, my wife said the lady's room was a mess. just so you know this is Sunday at 2:00 and the restaurant was only half full no wonder and I order a side of meatballs came out cold not even warm and they weren't that good. the chicken D pasta was good to be fair and the valet greeted me when I pulled up front so I give the place 2 stars.

My wife and I went in on a Thursday night and the restaurant was calm. Not sure why it took a bit to get us seated, but it wasn't bad. Service was on point. Our waiter, Andrew, was attentive. I got Ziti with sausage and she got lasagna. They were both tasty. The warm apple crostata dessert was amazing. Portions were big for the price. Ambiance was great; the lighting was nicely dimmed and the sound level was comfortable. Overall great experience.

Let me start by saying that I have been to Maggianos multiple times...in multiple states...and is have never been disappointed by the food. Some things are better than others..but the food has always been good. I have also gone as a couple and I have been there with a party of 20. So why only the 3 stars? We went there last night for thanksgiving. The food was delicious...but the service was terrible. We were seated pretty close to our reservation time. Our table was not fully set or cleaned (wine bottle bucket from previous seating still at our table...salt/pepper/cheese/candle on the ledge of a pillar and no knives at the table). It took some time for our server to come. The bruschetta that came with the meal came quickly....finally the server came and we placed our order...and then waited and waited. I finally had to ask another server (who I thought was ours for bread for my 4 yr old.). Salad finally showed up. Then we waited again for the mains. They finally came. No refills on drinks or water. No offers for additional servings on any of the dishes (although the table next to us was offered an whole FULL refills of their food packed to go). Our server then brought us Togo containers to pack our leftovers ourselves, while we watched ever other server pack the leftovers at other tables. As we were trying to pack the leftovers, they rushed out dessert which caused confusion while I was trying to pack the left overs. Again no offers of refills of water or even if we wanted coffee. The check came and we were charged $17.95 for my 4 yr old...child price was for ages 5-12. Waited again to ask about the charge. Server told me she thought my daughter was 5. If she would have asked, or spent more than 20 seconds at our table beyond taking our order, she would have known. She did take the charge off the bill. They were no busier than they are for any other night. We have been there on a holiday (Mother's Day) and we had great service then. They weren't even serving their entire menu. There is no excuse for the poor service we received. Will we be back. Probably and hopefully we won't have the same server. And yes...1 bad service experience changes the impression we had.

We were excited to come to his restaurant as we love the one in Orlando. However, I was a little disappointed with the food and service. The taste of the food was okay nothing to fuss over. The servers took forever with the food and then tried to hurry us up when they wanted to close up. I was not impressed, I will still with the one in Orlando instead.

Maggs is our guilty pleasure for the weeks where we're working a lot and don't feel like cooking. They have an insane dinner for two special where they give you an appetizer, 2 giant entrees served at the restaurant, 2 giant take-home plates and dessert for $40. This actually turns out to be $40 for 4 nights for us, since we eat like birds. Service is very friendly, and actually better and more respectful than a lot of "fancy" restaurants we've been to. Food is pretty good for a chain (much better than OG) and I actually love their spaghetti and meatball dish. The last few times we have been here, it was full of nasty old people, which is a shame. I say "nasty" because every table of old people around us were being outrageously rude and whiny to the wait staff. Hopefully, summer will come and all the rude, hateful snowbirds will go away.

Family style is highly recommended!! So much good food!!! My party of four were celebrating a birthday and it was the perfect location to enjoy each other's company, have really great flavored food and great service. We did the Chef's Choice ($40/pp) with the following selections: Bruschetta! (3 stars) Delicious-- I don't believe I normally have bruschetta with olives but these were great! Calamari- (4 stars) Amongst the best tasting I've had!!! Tasted fresh, not chewy and flavorful! Crab Cakes- (5 stars) One of the best crab cakes I have ever, ever enjoyed! Real chunks of crab, not too heavily breaded. Just really good!! Rustic Chicken and Shrimp (4 stars) Crab and Shrimp Canelloni (3 stars)-- Heavy ricotta cheese! Linguine Di Mare (3.5 stars) Lobster Cabonara (4.5 stars) The creme brulee blew the desserts out the park!! Tiramisu was good, but pales to the creme brulee!

Held a double bar mitzvah on a Saturday afternoon. Used all 3 rooms. One for the service and the other 2 for the party. Food was excellent, service was great! Took home 7 pans of left over food and dessert which came in handy later that night. Staff was easy to work with. Only negative was a/c leaking and some water got on a guest. Room was not set up as planned, but staff eagerly fix the problem before the party. Would have given them 5 stars if not for the water leak. Overall a fantastic place that allowed us to celebrate this very special occasion.

Yum Yum! Love the Pasta for Life special they have (where you can take a full order of what you ordered for your meal home for free- so you get two meals! One at the restaurant and one to take home!). Great casual place that is great for groups, family and friends. Inexpensively priced and family-style food so I always leave full! Great place in Boca Raton!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Maggiano's. Since we were a small wedding party, and many didn't know each other, I thought: "What better way to get to know new people than sharing Italian Comfort Food and Wines?" So the Family Style was perfect for the occasion. Along with that went the service: Our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive and chatty without being intrusive. He allowed me to pace the meal so that we could linger over appetizers and get to know everyone before digging into the Italian Favorites with gusto. He also kept our Wines and Waters filled all night. We were there on a Friday Night, and he never seemed rushed or stressed and he made the experience absolutely wonderful! The restaurant was packed... the music was live in the bar... and we even all joined in (the whole restaurant, no joke) in a chorus of "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. SWEET! And then there was... The Food. We ordered family style, and believe me, they bring enough food for your entire party and whatever country's army happened to join you that night. No exaggeration, we had boxes and boxes and boxes and made another meal for 4 out of it on Sunday night, and STILL had leftovers. For roughly $40 per person, we all shared: Appetizers. Mussels in Tomato, Basil and Garlic. Holy Wow. No leftovers of that one!! Fried Calamari. Awesome. Caesar Salad. Light and Fresh. Entrees: Spaghetti and Meatballs. Went with the classic, my soon-to-be Hubby's Favorite. It did not disappoint. Taylor Street Baked Ziti: Baked Ziti with Sausage and plenty of Melty Mozzarella! Beef Tenderloin Medallions with Portobella Mushrooms in Marsala Glaze over Mashed Potatoes. Even good for dinner, 2 days later! Balsamic-Glazed Salmon. This was the Winner! Not a bite left over, fresh salmon, not too much Balsamic, over spinachy Orzo! Fantastic. Dessert: Tiramisu (Of course... AND! Everyone was kind enough to leave us one leftover piece to take home. Aww!) Vanilla Ice cream for the unadventurous ones. Also gone to the last drop! Combine that dinner with a couple glasses of wine, a few strong mixed drinks, or a beer or two, and needless to say, my Rehearsal Dinner was a Stellar Success. We have a gift certificate to return, and neither I nor my *Hubby* :) Can wait to go back!

Laurel brought us down for dinner last night and the three of us had a really good meal here. We started with fried calamari and sauce....very good start actually. I'm not so into fried, but this was a little addictive. It came out fairly quickly. Our waiter Mike was friendly, attentive and quick with the draw the entire night. Our meals were great. I had the eggplant parm over whole wheat penne pasta. It was a good portion. The pasta was the way I like it. It wasn't overcooked. Laurel had the chicken piccata and Curt had a gnocchi dish with Italian sausage. I tried a little chicken from Laurel's plate and it was juicy, fresh and well prepared. I stole some gnocchi from Curt with harm to my life and that was something I discovered would be a future dish. It was good! Overall, the meal was pleasant and surprisingly good from a small chain of maybe 10 restaurants around the country. Would I come back? Yes, I would. Pros: -Great sangria...I mean GREAT sangria! -Food was fresh, well prepared and done quickly and in order. -This particular establishment has a special menu feature in that if you select a $12.95 pasta dish you get another one of your choosing to go for free. I like this idea.. It's an interesting incentive. -Great location in Boca of course. It had plenty of parking. -Appeared to be clean. -Staff was friendly and service was very good. -It's an interesting atmosphere. It's well lit and you can certainly come down and people watch.

We were seated rather quickly, but literally right in the center of the restaurant. The Boca crowd is something to deal with for sure. They surely want you to hear what they are saying that's for sure. I can't say I dealt with what another reviewer did, but I did see the family dressed like trailer trash which disappointed me. We live in a society of no dress code now. The decor is okay, nothing special. But the food I thought was delicious. The deal where I get to bring a pasta dish home was great. $40 for two excellent pasta dishes, two salads and a dessert is really good. Plus the bread was excellent. I had the fettuccine alfredo. It was excellent. My Wife had the mushroom ravioli. She loved it. She took home the lasagna and I took home the ravioli. The ravioli I had today. It was awesome. The salads were excellent as well and the bread was very tasty. The dessert was really good too. Overall, the food was delicious. It's the only place I've been to that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for excellent Italian food. The only comparable spot in taste is Martorano's on Oakland Park Blvd. by the beach, but the cost there is ridiculous.

I always make this location a stop during my stay in Boca Raton. The restaurant is lively, food is tasty and has an overall good vibe. From time to time, the bar area has live music. Can be a little loud, but enjoyable. A reservation is a must.

I went there on date night and I can say that I was pleased with the service and the food was great but I have had better (for my taste). Our appetizer was delicious and I was really excited for my lobster carbonara but when I tasted it seemed to lack flavor, it could have been because I got it without the bacon but I had to add salt and pepper which I rarely do at restaurants. Don't get me wrong it was still good, maybe my expectations were too high. But they do bring out fresh bread which is delicious and the service is phenomenal. It is great for date night oe family night or a dinner with friends.

After a great Maggiano's meal in Orlando, I did two classic pastas (meat sauce lasagna & Taylor Street Baked Ziti) & a Caprese plate for dinner, at this Boca Raton location. *This was for take out.** The wait was 25 minutes in addition to the 30 minutes it had already taken me to get there. The ziti was delicious, but the lasagna tasted old & too salty, and there was a hair (dark blonde-light brown, definitely not my thick, black hair) in my Caprese... so that went in the trash. Overall a major disappointment.
Allow me to begin with the fact that this restaurant had the best Italian food that I've ever had thus far; their gnocchi is to die for. The atmosphere was very homely, and from the facade, the spinning doors, to the second floor shutters, this place was distinct. My only somewhat negative comment can perhaps be negated by the fact that my party went on a Friday night during high tide hours, but it was incredibly hard to hold a conversation with the person sitting next to me, much less the waitress. Regardless of such, this is a restaurant that I am very much looking forward to going to again in the near future.

Good grief, the Boca Raton crowd is beyond belief. It's the most plastic, egocentric BS. I have no idea how the staff here can maintain their professionalism. Between the atrocious table manners to the "desperate housewives" having a 100 decibel conversation about how it's helpful to drink Gatorade after running or excessive drinking- I nearly had to say something! I really don't care to know that it takes a guy 2 months of "working hard to impress me" before you will sleep with him. Also, if your teenage daughters dine here, you might tell them if they insist on dressing like a prostitute - at least wear clothes the right size. Your backfat muffin -topping over your bra in a skintight half shirt - not a good look for you. Maggiano's also serves food. It's actually pretty good Italian. I can recommend the calamari starter, mushroom ravioli, lasagna, and apple tart. Service was attentive and friendly. Just remember that if you go.... Expect dinner and a show

Maggiano's is my favorite restaurant. The first time I went to Maggiano's was when I lived in Washington, DC. There was one in Tyson's Corner, Virginia, a suburb of Washington. Later they opened one in Washington. When my husband and I moved to Boca Raton we were happy to find a Maggiano's close to our house. Maggiano's is a big beautiful restaurant. Some of the items on the menu are expensive, but the size of the servings make up for the cost. There are plenty of choices that are reasonably priced. The best deal is the Classic Pastas for $12.95. You get a great choice of their pasta dishes, and they pack a second pasta dish, of your choice, to take home. As an example, you can order the four cheese ravioli to eat at the restaurant, and the lasagna to take home. This is available for lunch or dinner. My favorite is the Family Dinners. It's supposed to be for groups of four or more, although once in awhile they will make an exception and let two or three people order it. There are three Family Dinner choices: The Light for $20.95 per person - includes three appetizers or salads and two pastas. They give you delicious lemon cookies for dessert. The Classic for $28.95 per person- includes three appetizers or salads and four main course selections. You also get to choose two desserts. The Chef's Choice for $38.95 per person- is the same as the Classic but you can choose some of the premium items on the menu and it comes with coffee. I've never ordered the Chef's Choice. I get either the Light or the Classic. The Family Dinners are served family style. If you love a dish and want more, just tell your server, and you'll get another order at no extra charge. If you have leftovers, which you probably will, just ask your server to pack them up. The food is so good. One of my favorite appetizers is the stuffed mushrooms. I also love the spinach & artichoke al forno. My favorite salad is the Maggiano's salad. It is so good with hunks of blue cheese and a delicious slightly sweet dressing. Their pastas and entrees are always good. For dessert it's the chocolate zuccotto cake which is the richest, most delicious chocolate cake I've ever eaten. I've probably tried all of their desserts and they're all good. Don't forget if you order the Family Dinner Classic, which comes with desserts, you can have seconds, thirds, and more. It just depends on how much you can eat.

Before I talk about the amazing food I must give extremely high praises to our waiter Robert. He was the best waiter hands down, personably, very knowledgeable about the menu and overall a fantastic individual, Maggiano's is lucky to have him. Now onto the food...holy $hit!!! I was warned, come hungry and I am glade I did. Drinks: Robert gave us a wine recommendation based on our preferences and he was spot on. Apps: fried calamari, fried zucchini, chopped salad were all amazing and of course huge, everything was fresh and not over fried. Dinner: talapia, gnocchi with sausage, linguine with clams, chicken saltamboco. All again were huge, fantastic, except the chef must love rosemary...dude cut back on the rosemary, you killed the chicken dish. Dessert: chocolate cake and apple fritter with vanilla ice cream...wow that was good. Oh cappuccino was part of it as well, made perfect. We had a group of 6 adults and 1 kid and you can't appreciate the food with a small group...4 or more is a must to enjoy what Maggiano's has to offer...again Robert made the night!!!!

I've been here 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. Always amazing, friendly, accommodating servers. Food is always great. They always suggest a great wine to accompany my meal. I LOVE the mushroom ravioli- so sweet & creamy! Plus you get a free meal to take home since it's one of the "classics."

Oh my dear lord and all that is gluttonous. I ate so much freaking food here. Birthday dinner for a good friend of mine (there were four of us here in total) turned ridiculous. We decided to do the family style dining (the mid option of the three, don't recall the name) and had SO much food. Leftovers for at least a week. Good thing all of it was very tasty!! Salads, pastas, chicken, desserts.. all so good. The tortellini we had with the truffle in it (face it - truffle makes everything taste a million times better) was my favorite. Their bread pudding dessert was kind of a disappointment, but the tiramisu was a great makeup for it! Our server was neither here nor there. He was pretty good at first, but then kind of forgot about us. When he did get around to bringing me my sangria I was a very happy girl. Who knew a place like this would have fantastic sangria? All in all I recommend. Allegedly this place is uber busy all the time (I was here on a Monday night and it was packed full - mind you, this place is HUGE) so reservations may be a good idea!

Food is great. I had mussels for an appetizer and it was spot on ... I had so much food that I didn't need to cook for 2 days, which is great for me since I work all day and my husband needs to eat whatever is left in the fridge that I make the night before for lunch ...

I haven't been to a Maggiano's for several years and had forgotten how good, and crowded it can get. I got same night reservations and was seated about 10 minutes early (on a Sunday night). The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bread was nice and warm. We started with the fried calamari and a pitcher of red sangria, both top-notch. The sangria pitcher seemed small but provided about four glasses worth. The calamari was lightly breaded, fresh and delicious. I had the chicken piccata which came with a side plate of angel hair past in a buttery sauce. There were two good sized pieces of chicken which were nice and tender. My buddy had the lasagna which he described as maybe the best lasagna he had ever had because it seemed "Home Made" and not frozen. His lasagna, listed on the menu as a "classic pasta" entitled him to a complimentary take home pasta of his choice, from the same "classic pasta" list. He picked the fettuccine alfredo, which he advised was equally good. Although this is a chain, it's high quality food. My only disappointment, is the lack of Parmesan cheese on the table. This is my measure of any Italian place. I saw some tables had it but many did not. Perhaps you must request it. This cost you a star Mr Maggiano.

Wow First time at MAGGIANO'S and it was great and no wonder it's great because it's the same exact company as Chili's,On The Border and Macaroni Grill which are really great and awesome restaurants.I ordered the chicken and mushroom stuffed shells and they were good and I also ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs meal and it was so good that it was like an Antidote for Cancer.Definitely love to come back to this Boca Raton MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ITALY

Just got home form celebrating my wife's birthday here and everything was top notch.. We Started off with the calamari and the stuffed mushrooms, the calamari was really fresh tasting and done to perfection crispy without being over cooked which would make them very rubbery. The lasagna was perfect and we had the strawberry cheesecake with fresh whipped cream it tasted like they flew it in from New York City couldn't asked for better. If you go on the weekend you should make reservations because if not you might be waiting for he better part of an hour.

Always solid southern Italian fare. It's not really inexpensive but for the amount of food they give you its definitely worth it. Try the lasagna or even one of the lighter dishes like the ziti with turkey sausage.

The food here is great. The wait can be long during the dinner rush. I like this place and the average meal per person is about $15-20. Only one problem with this place is the noise (if it is busy, it can be so loud you can barely hear the person next to you)

"Family style...our group loved the calamari and crab cakes. The medallions of beef were cooked perfectly and delicious as was the linguine del mare which was fabulous. Scampi was good, hot, flavorful. The lasagna was fair and the weak link. Cheesecake and the chocolate cake were excellent. A fun birthday celebration with lots of food and wine. Michael our waiter was very attentive, funny and made sure we wanted for nothing...ask for him by name, you won't be disappointed."

OK, if this restaurant was in some small town in Nebraska it might pass as Italian Food if the Olive Garden was closed. But in Boca, an area where some of the best Italian food resides south of Italy or even NYC, this does not deserve one star. If you like it, it's because it's cheap & fried. If you like this place you have taste-buds used to really bad food. If you want Italian food, find any local, non-chain Italian restaurant and compare. I can suggest several in Boca, but since you would think I'm a competitor writing a bad review for my competition, I will not.

We received a Gift card for Christmas and decided to give it a try. Hubby & I ordered the same Lobster Carbonara which was delicious and plenty of Lobster. My kids food was delicious as well. My Daughters Mac N cheese was out of hand! I would order it for myself. Service was friendly. I would definitely return.

This place is always packed... Reservation is a must, especially for dinner. With that being said, service was still excellent! Drinks always refilled and servers always attentive. Be prepared to be served with an insane amount of food! (Not complaining) Food was great! I love the whole family friendly atmosphere!

first let me say the closest this place comes to italian dining is its name. now let me say that the statement, "cooked to order" is nonsense.three of us went to dinner there last night and the waiter decided to tell us this is not your ordinary chain restaurant i should also say that the food wasn't terrible but when you order stuffed mushrooms a salad and two orders of eggplant parmision and a lobster and macaroni special it shouldn't all come out in five minutes it was like they were throwing the food at us.it was loud and boisterous to say the least.the gimmick is, if you order certain dishes they give you another one to take home. i personally like to eat really good food and not take anything home.if you want good italian food pass this place up. i will.

Absolutely the WORST table service AND customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Unacceptable and a disgrace. This would be negative stars if that was an option. Where to begin?? We had a family dinner for 20 people, everyone came from far away to spend the weekend here. You'd assume you'd put your best servers on for this party, it was quite the opposite. Logic doesn't apply here. For some reason they set this up right next to the entrance and half of the party was seated tightly against the wall which meant that if one person had to get up for the bathroom that everybody on that side had to get up and slide out in order to let that person out. Because the incorrect number of seats were setup, people had to stand around and wait only to have the staff complain that people were in their way. Well if you'd set this up properly this wouldn't have even been an issue. The drinks took about 15-20 minutes to arrive depending on what you ordered. Water came one time and wasn't refilled again until dessert. As someone who works in the food industry, it is standard operating procedure to refill glasses before they're half empty. This does not happen at this restaurant. One server knocked over a water glass he was filling and his fix for it was to basically flip a napkin on the wet area and he almost dropped the napkin onto the candle. This same waiter also on TWO occasions spilled water on my girlfriend's shoes and made a puddle on the floor which was never cleaned up. Because this was a big party we had family style dishes and after we finished the appetizer course we ran out of bread so we requested more bread. The 2nd course entrees came and in the meantime because nobody bussed our tables there were plates that we had to stack up to accommodate the entree plates. Again unacceptable. Our table got real messy real fast. Remember that bread I asked for? Yeah apparently neither did our server. I had to ask again. As the plates sat there it really was obvious the staff didn't care to work to accommodate us since a party this large would have to automatically tip which meant there was no incentive for the servers to actually do their jobs. As the second course was completed we still had plates from the first course just sitting there, empty water glasses everywhere, and still no bread. I asked a server 'Can we PLEASE have bread, we've asked 2x now for bread' and he got argumentative trying to tell me he has given everyone bread while there is physically no bread anywhere on the table and not since the salad course has anyone seen the bread. It must've been that new invisible bread. Here's a tip, if the customer asks for bread, you bring it. You don't wait until the 3rd request to have AND top it off with a smartass attitude not even acknowledging the several requests. Bread comes but only as we are about to get dessert. Not sure why this was a tough request to fill. Then the servers drop off desserts and because they haven't bussed the empty plates which once again we had to stack ourselves, they just dropped these plates wherever they could. While our desserts are melting in front of us, that's when they make the decision to actually get plates and forks. Common sense says you get plates and forks THEN dessert. But remember, logic has no place here. Our coffee orders are taken and 6 of the 20 guests never even got coffee delivered to them. When this was brought up, the servers acted surprised and ran around like the keystone cops to get the other 6 coffees. But of course these coffees werent hot and some had to be returned and re-heated. Really guys? Finished desserts, then coffees and guess what, still nobody bussed anything. It's restaurant etiquette 101 to bus tables and remove plates that have been finished. And and it was this point that they actually refilled water glasses. Too little too late. One member of our party had had enough with this mistreatment and complained directly to the manager, Bruce, who basically walked away mid conversation to tend to something else and made ZERO effort to remedy the situation. A disgrace. The service was horrendous, the professionalism non existent, and the entire dining experience was one of the worst ever. Having to stack your own party's plates and ask for bread 3x only to get attitude is so reprehensible. Usually the higher ups would make an effort to appease customers but any kind of customer care went out the window. The manager had no interest in making this better.

One of the best Italian places in all of Boca! Be warned it gets packed, (another sign of how good it is) so make sure you reserve a table in advance.

The accept reservations via OpenTable and/or on their website - extremely convenient! The food is amazingly good. And they regularly have this crazy deal on the menu: Marco's Meal for Two! A 3 course meal for two, PLUS two Classic Pastas to take home for FREE, all for $40.00! It includes: ANY appetizer, or any flatbread or any two side salads. Then, two additional "Classic Pastas" dishes (to go home) and 1 dessert - any dessert! Really?? I don't think you can even eat that much, that inexpensively at a fast food place. The atmosphere is great too. It makes you feel like you're in an old timey Italin "joint". We love, love, LOVE Maggianos!

The food was supurbly cooked the location was great however the service left a lot to be desired, it was graduation night at FAU and yes it was very busy however No excuse for the following, we were a party of 7 adults and 1 child and an infant, our drink order came for the adults leaving my granddaughter Sitting and stearing at us due to her pinapple juice not arriving, when it did it Had no straw or ice, unacceptable, my Bloody Mary came without Olives or a lime the weighter brought it over after I was almost done with the drink. It took approximitely another 20 to 25 minutes to get our main course after our appetizers arrived which also took around 20 minutes after our drinks arrived It was Friday night May 2. We will dine with you one more time Just to see if the poor service is repeated or if you all had a bad night. , needless to say I did not leave the Suggested tip.

I lived right across from this restaurant for a year and I had admired the exterior of this place so much that I begged my then fiance who is my now husband to take me there for my birthday. The place on the outside exuded this Romeo-and-Juliet-esque feeling, so we got dressed up to the nines for it. The minute we walked in, we were disappointed with the atmosphere. It may appear to be "big" like it would have levels of seating like balcony dining around the 2nd floor.... no it does not! It's just a high ceiling building and the windows are just to give you the illusion that it has floors for dining from the outside while the upstairs seems to be private, maybe offices. The food wasn't amazing either... we seriously were let down on this, too! Very mediocre as it also reminded us of Olive Garden and very salty. So... all of the reviews we've read in the past before coming there is definitely nothing and just hyped up just because it is nice looking on the outside, it's in the Town Center Plaza in Boca Raton, they have valet parking, and "family-style" meal options. Just meh. Needless to say, we never have returned to this place.

We were shopping at Boca Town Center and it was my Birthday so we decided to try Maggianos as it was so close and I had never been there. The service was excellent . To me the bread is just OK, we were offered butter or olive oil and chose the olive oil. I would have liked it better if there had been some herbs for the olive oil instead of just black pepper on the table. I had the Chicken Francesse and it was amazing, tender, cooked just right and tasty. it came with Crispy red potatoes . My daughter asked for some Parmesan cheese and the server immediately brought two little cups, one was shredded and one was grated. Although it would be nice if offered without asking , I can't complain about him quickly bringing two types when asked for cheese. For the Birthday they brought out a plate of lemon cookies with lit candles.
Came here for a work conference and the place is actually quite nice. They opened up the two spare rooms and made it into a large auditorium area. The place seems a bit kitschy with antique portraits of the family throughout, and some celebrity spottings. It seems liked a fancier, funner Olive Garden, in my opinion. Otherwise, the food for lunch was delivered family-style and we were given a 3 dishes for each table to share: lasagna (which they forgot to give our table), lemon chicken (which looked and I heard was pretty good), and veggie pasta (which was good and tasty). They also served us two salads: caesar (a bit wilty), and a meat-style salad (which others raved about). By the time dessert came out, almost everyone was too full. I sampled the banana pound cake (excellent) and strawberry cheesecake (actually really good). The place is large, parking is a bit tricky since the lot is mostly reserved for other places in the mall and their spots were gone or valet. And the staff seemed a bit all over the place, but that could be because it was a huge group. I don't think I'd go back, even though everything was adequate, because it wasn't anything exceptional and I'd prefer a more authentic homemade mom-and-pop Italian place.

I have been to this location several times & will continue going for years to come. The food is always neatly prepared & always so delicious. Managers stop by to make sure everything is perfect & the chef even comes out to make sure our food is up to par. His name was Sean Skeen & he was very informative & kind. Great representation of the chain!

Did the family style menu. Had three course meal which was really good. The wait style was great and attentive. The only bad thing was that the salmon and the steak was little dry. Also, restaurant is cool 1950's style Italian restaurant. The only other thing is the parking is very limited but there is a valet.

So again eating at chain Italian restaurants always make me nervous but surprisingly this was different! We went here because we are thinking of having the rehearsal dinner in one of their banquet rooms. We met Abbey, the banquet manager, and she was lovely and showed us around the hall. It is such a perfect place to have a party. You dont find many restaurants with good size party rooms and this hit all of our needs. We then made our way to the bar to have a glass of wine and Rico was our bartender. Very nice guy and extremely knowledgeable about wine and the restaurant in general. We sat down for dinner and tables were a little close together, If I leaned back I would have been in our neighbors lap. We got the light family plan and it is a great deal for the amount of food you receive and unlimited servings! Stuffed mushrooms were my fave and could not stop eating them. Our server was just ok, she didn't come around much and was not as attentive as she could have been. Also when we got our entrees it took her a while to bring plates so we could eat! Overall a great experience and we are so excited to have our rehearsal dinner in her in March.

Great experience with this Maggianos for our rehearsal dinner in May 2014! The catering manager, Chelsea was wonderful to work with, always responsive and helpful, had no problem with assisting with our special dietary needs for myself and our guests. The food was amazing. The day of the event everything ran absolutely perfectly and all of the waitstaff and bartenders were amazing. I would definitely recommend them!

Apple Crostini. That's all I've got to rave about. It was so good that we always talk about coming back just to have that dessert only. It was perfectly gooey inside with a balance of sweet and sour from the apples that gave an incredible crunch. The crust was slightly fluffy with a sugar-y crunch on the outside. Smothered with caramel sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream, this dessert is sinful. If you find that the dish is lacking a little caramel, ask for more. They will happily bring you extra. But...onto the restaurant. It's very quaint and quiet with a huge dining room. When I went with my boyfriend it was not busy and there was someone playing a piano in the bar area next door (kudos to playing a phantom of the opera song). We decided since it was a bit expensive that we'd split the fillet Mignon and the bruschetta appetizer. The bruschetta was okay - me not liking tomato sauce too much didn't help, but overall my boyfriend loved it. The fillet was very good and perfectly sized because afterward we didn't feel like we stuffed ourselves to where we couldn't enjoy our dessert. Our server was extremely nice and helpful, although a little slow in the beginning, she started to warm up to us after wards. I think we were lucky in going on a night that wasn't busy because I'm sure this place would get packed and really loud. But I would recommend it for some good Italian eats.

I've been hearing about Maggiano's for a while, since a friend of mine used to frequent the one in Jacksonville. I was always told it was delicious so I had it on my list of places to try. I found myself in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to make the drive to Boca Raton to try out the closest Maggiano's to us South Floridians. When I first walked in I wasn't too impressed. The restaurant was pretty empty but I think that is because my party and I went at around 3pm. I think it's a weird lull in between lunch and dinner. I was famished when I went in so I immediately devoured some of the bread they brought us. It was really good and a great way to start my meal off. The table got two appetizers to begin with, the crispy zucchini fritte and the stuffed mushrooms. Both were delicious, but if I had to choose one I liked more, I'd say the stuffed mushrooms. I am biased though, since I really love mushrooms. For my entree I got the gnocchi with chicken. It was scrumptious. It is served with a vodka sauce and I was in heaven with every bite I took. Everyone at the table loved their meals (braised beef ravioli, chicken piccata, and the four cheese ravioli), and were saying how satisfying they were. A word of warning, the plates of food are huge. No one finished their entire meal, and we all took home left overs. The dessert here are also really large, so 3 of us decided to try their mini desserts. There are 5 available and they are really good for just one person. I got the apple crostada, and two of my friends got the creme brulee and tiramisu. The apple crostada was amazing, but it is very sweet. They have sugar on top of crust, but I loved it. My friends loved their desserts too. Maggiano's was definitely a great place to try out. The food was really good, and the portion size is great. You definitely get your money's worth.

Got scammed by this place. The waiter pointed out a special which included an appetizer course, main dish, and dessert(as well as a take home dish) for a pair of people for 39.99. When the bill came, waiter claimed when ordering pasta the dessert isn't included. Looked at the menu on the way out and it mentioned nothing about this. (should have spoken to manager at that point but didn't) Called restaurant when we got home and he said the dessert IS included in the price regardless of the main dish choice, and basically said "Go f$%k yourself" when asked to address the issue. Check the reviews and you'll see several other having this exact same issue with deceptive sales tactics. Avoid this place.

I've eaten at other Maggiano's in other cities and I was happy when I found this location because their italian food is delicious. We had an excellent time from the bartender at the bar which recommended some good beers to the waiters that took care of us.

Prompt seating despite being very busy. Waitstaff less than friendly. Chicken Tortelloni is marginal at best but still tasty. My wife's chicken parm came out PINK. Manager acted promptly. For the most part the food was good but the service was the worst that I have ever personally experienced. We waited nearly 45 minutes to get a drink order in and even longer to get our food order. The waitstaff and management seemed more into helping the regulars at large tables than anyone else. My opinion is to wait until it is not busy and pray you get a table.

Let me begin by saying this: my father had a gift card. I'll keep this short, as there's not much to say. The food is good, but only when comparing it to its chain competitors -- Olive Garden (been once, hated every second). The portions, however, are too large. An interesting feature of Maggiano's can be found in their "Classic Pastas". For $12.95, you get your choice of about 10 "traditional" Italian chain restaurant dishes--ex. lasagna, eggplant parmesean. They give you one to eat there, and a cold one to take home. Not sure how I feel about that yet...or what it says about the quality and freshness of their food. Service was surprisingly good...I mean, really surprising. Don't think I'd ever return of my own will.

Being Italian and from NJ, I expected Maggiano's to be close to what I grew up eating. It certainly wasn't. The bread they bring to the table was delicious. It tasted like it was from the "bakery down the block" like we had as kids in Neward. Some of the typical Italian pasta dishes were missing from the menu. I had my taste buds ready for Canneloni beans and sausage, nowhere to be found. I also was shocked that there was no antipasto on the menu nor was there Pasta Fagioli. I did have the sausage flatbread which was okay. The service was okay but not great. This was your typical Italian Chain Restaurant on a par with Bucca Di Beppo. Not bad but certainly not great or what you would hope for. I would have rated it lower but my husband didn't think it was too bad. I was hoping it would be another Il mulino in Ft. Lauderdale but it wasn't even close.

A little bit of a downgrade, this time around. Went here on Saturday night and ordered off the family style menu. Food is still great and we tried two new items (for us) chicken and truffle tagliatelle and the beef braciole, both good, except the beef was not as tender as I thought it would be. Overall service was pretty good, but just after we sat down they received 150 covers in 20 minutes and we did see some problems with drink/bread refills as a result, but by the time we received our entrees they were back on track. Did not minus any stars for that reason. However, I did minus one star as the refill portions on the foods are not as large as usual-especially since we were portioned out food as just 4 adults instead of a party of 6. (read on for explanation) Also, found out that they charge $15.95 for children 5 and up. I don't know if this has always been the case or recent change in policy. We were with a couple who had two 5 year olds. For them to pay $32 for the couple of pieces of pasta and dessert they ate, seemed to me to be a a lot. Our friends disputed the amount, and Maggianos graciously comped one of the children's meals. However, if you have children 5+, that won't each much, the family style may not be for you. For-warned is for-armed. Regardless I still love this place and plan on coming back again and again---at least until my daughter turns 5.

Not a great experience. We had a big table of about 12 people. Server was around once every 20-30 minutes. We got better service from the people cleaning the tables. Food was o.k., not great. We went downstairs afterward and sat near the bar talking. No one came up to help us, just overall, nothing special.

Food is very good. Service is terrible, on multiple visits we sat at our booth for over 15 minutes without anyone greeting or acknowledging us. Don't be surprised if you have to walk up to the hostess as the other waiters will ignore your existence.

First off: I love Maggiano's. It is one of my favorite restaurants and the family style is one of the best deals around. This was my first time at the Boca location and I was very disappointed. Why? They took the mushroom ravioli off of the menu! WTF? This was one of my favorite dishes of all time and I have introduced many of my friends to it and they all have loved it. I even got a friend who hates mushrooms to try it and he liked it. I cannot believe that discontinued the mushroom ravioli. The restaurant itself is fine and the food we ordered was on par with the other Maggiano's I have eaten at; however, the waiter wasn't great and he seemed like he may have had too many tables and didn't time our meal right. He was a little snotty and had a little of that "northeast" attitude in him b/c he kept reminding us he was from Philly. There were five of us total and we all liked it although some aspects of the meal weren't exactly like I was used to. The tiramisu is still the best! Maggiano's is still awesome; however, if they don't put the mushroom ravioli back on the menu, I won't be going there as much as I do now.

Been going to this restaurant for over a decade. I like the marsala steak medalians, brushetta and calamari. Staff is always friendly and since their recent renovation much cleaner environment. I used to love going during the christmas season because they were one of the only places that really decorated for the holiday. But 2-3 years ago they stopped and do very minimal now. Guess the economic downturn bit them hard as well.

Food was amazing!!! We were a party of 8 and everyone loved their dinner. Good wine list - helpful paring with food recommendations. Server, although could have been a bit friendlier, knew his menu/restaurant. They serve half portions, which are perfect size, after the appetizers, or if you want to leave room for dessert. Plus they have a family special, where you get 2 Appetizers, 2 Entrees, 2 Desserts, etc. Highly recommend it!

Oh. my. god. Can we say the best chicken and spinach manicotti ever? I still remember coming here over a year ago. My friend from college was raving about this place when we were in class one day and I never really thought much of it until we got a gift card from my father-in-law (which was known as my bf's dad at the time). I fell in love with the service and the atmosphere of Maggiano's. They served the usual bread and we dipped it in olive oil. I can't remember if I had a salad or not, but let me just tell you about the manicotti I had. It was a manicotti that was filled with chicken, ricotta cheese, and spinach baked and topped with alfredo sauce. Heaven! It's a good thing that it's about a half hour away from home or I would be here every weekend or possibly night ;) Mmmm, I could really go for this again...like now!

Mediocre at best. Good ambiance. Good service. Food so-so. Would not go back after first visit. Lasagne tastes like Sbarro's. Pretty good calamari fritte. Chicken parmesan was dry. Red sauce was salty and did not stand out. Tasted like it was from a jar. Decent white clam sauce linguine. Pretty decent tiramisu. Bread was good. Inconsistent quality of food.

The family-style menu is amazing! I came here with about 20 other people, we had so much food! Crabcakes, filet mignon, shrimp pasta, some type of chicken pasta, etc, etc. I just kept eating whatever came my way. Then came the desserts: tiramisu and some type of chocolate cake, which was very moist. Both desserts were very, very good!! I never eat Italian food in restaurants in the U.S. (especially chain restaurants like Maggiano's) because they are all Americanized. I know most restaurants with foreign cuisines are Americanized, but, to me, Italian food is impossible to eat here. Maggiano's may not be very authentic, but it's the only Americanized Italian restaurant that I like!

Mediocre Italian food. Honestly Carrabba's has way better food for the same price. The gnocchi with vodka sauce wasn't very good, the lobster carbonara was dry and not worth the money. The mussels were good. The best dish was the spaghetti with meatball on the kids menu.

This is the "family style" version of Olive Garden, thats probably not a compliment ;) Place packs large groups into too small of an area, wait staff touch patrons, lean across table to serve (at two different occasions an employees rear end was rested on my back while they served an adjacent table) Food is hit or miss.

Much better than the typical chain restaurant Italian food (see Olive Garden) and great portions. Good place for large group dining.

OH MY GOD!!! It's all I have to say! Went there with a friend for dinner. Amazing food!!!! Stuffed Mushrooms for apptizer was banging! Chicken Manicotti... no words to describe it! Staff, nice and friendly, my waitress was very kind when I asked to cancel one of the dishes ( I thought I couldn't handle it all), I wanted to make sure I saved some space for desert! So I ordered a tiramissu, was good, but nothing that you don't get at any other italian place. I'm not giving 5 stars for the reason that there is no much of "ambience music" I wasn't looking for a loundge, club or anything, but the music was way toooooo low, so you kind of feel weird talking (having to wispere..) and listening (even thought you're not paying attention to the subject) others conversation.. Besides that.. I definetly recomend it!

been here many times . discovered it on my many Orlando trips. this one is in Boca. the restaurant is nice and great ambience. they have a great dining room but i prefer the first come first serve area y the bar with a piano and bar. place is awesome. i still try to see how this could be a chain corporate restaurant. the food , is very good and prices are reasonable. they have family style servings and specials that even give you an extra dish to take home wow. service is good could be slow but thats only when its very busy. the place is very busy, but they do a great job. now , the food , wow i mean amazing , the mozzarella appetizer is amazing. the other dishes that stand out is the veal wow marsala parmesan piccatta. also they have specialty dishes like rigatoni d s and hummm the farfalla. dessets imagine the best ! fair pours on wine guys i mean it and those big glasses we all love. fried ravioli is so good i almost ran off to the kitchen to demand more. for the money its an awesome place.

A while back I held a business luncheon at this location and was very pleased. The event staff were very helpful. The food was great in both proportion and taste. I had no complaints from any of the people who attended. The price was reasonable (about $15 a person with bar and table service). They did charge me for a projector screen, which I thought was a little lame, but overall, the event went well so I am not going to complain about a $50 projector screen charge.

Lots of food at a great price. Service is always good, but it's always packed and VERY loud. Lately, they've been having parties with really loud music on the second floor of the restaurant and you hear the booming music downstairs. Upstairs is open so you can hear it. Checked out the calories per portion and they're really high. Spaghetti with meat sauce is like 1600 calories or something. Stopped going due to the noise and the high number of calories since we're trying to watch what we eat.

Enjoy this place every time I've been to it. The portions are great for sharing and the food is always flavorful and delicious. The chicken Marsala is great and so us the apple pie dessert.

I love the Maggiano's!!!! One of the best italian food that I got in US!!! The mamma's lagsana was delightful. The plate are big and if you don't wanna to eat half of the world is possible to share.... Share a pasta for $12?!?!? Someone need something more?

The first time I went to Maggiano's, it was for a lunch meeting with business associates, and we ordered family-style. We were there for hours, and when it was over, I needed to go straight home and take a nap. However, I would not have eaten so much if it had not been so good, so there you go. These days, when I go back to Maggiano's, I do not order family-style. They have a wide range of delicous, heavy entrees, as well as some lighter sandwiches for people who don't indulge the way I do. Also, the decor is nice, and the service is friendly. The food is not the best Italian food I have ever had, but it is well-above average, especially for South Florida. In fact, it is so good that I almost don't mind driving into Boca Raton to eat there, so that should tell you something.

I guess it is appropriate that I make the 1st post here. I am Mr. Gary, and I do own the place. (as I am told by my friend and manager Ahnich Khalid). This place is great! That is not easy to say about a place owned by a large corporate machine like Brinker International (you know Chilli's, Macaroni grill, etc.) This place is just like any family run Italian restaurant that was once a movie theater. The place is strangely intimate for it's size. The people who work there have been there for years, and I consider them friends. Wendy is also one of the managers I know who goes out of her way for you and your guests. I just met Becky recently so I do not know her as well. I am a huge fan of their meat sauce and my wife loves the zucchini appetizer and the chicken Picata. (I do not like capers) If you are going for dinner make a reservation unless you are going with me. (After this review I will not need one) The portions are huge, and family style is the way I like to fly with my gang. If you want foo foo quiet boring fancy fake plastic Boca Raton please go somewhere else! If you want good Italian food in the heart of Boca for a fair price this is the place. If you see my just wave. (I am kinda anti social) Also great for events in the back rooms (I had a great meeting there too) Sorry I only gave it 4 stars because the people who work there are 100%. It is some of the miserable complaining angry people from Boca that are not. (I can say that I have lived here since 1997) You can also use worstpizza.com/category/… as a good source for pizza. (I said source not sauce)

Verty noisy so better for a group. Definitely not a date night place. Solid Italian food with knowledgeable but somewhat over worked waiters. Decent wine list but skimpy on the pour. One of the better chain Italian restaurants.

We were back here recently and while our dining experience was similar to the last time, I forgot my credit card here, only realizing it the next day. When I called, they had confirmed they still had it and seemed to have put it away in a safe place - thanks guys!

This place is great if you want fattening portions that are far too large for any normal person to eat. The food is par, but if I go out I would like something good.

Attended a private family function in one of the banquet rooms. Very disappointed in the quality of the food (mediocre) and the service (inattentive, almost rude). The "salmon piccata" was dry, a bit over cooked, and fairly tasteless. The stuffed mushrooms (one of the appetizers) were pretty tasty. The desserts (tiramisu and apple tart) were good. The coffee cups didn't all match and some saucers were actually the wrong size, so as not to fit the bottom of the cups appropriately, making the coffee easy to spill. The waiter poured our coffee so fast the it spilled out of the cups! Another waiter picked up my appetizer plate while I was still eating out of it, without even asking! If this is the way the main part of the restaurant is, I would find some place else to eat. I don't recommend this place for private banquets or functions. I got the feeling that the staff and management really didn't care much how things turned out.

A bit noisy, but the quality of the food and waiter service makes the noise bearable. Parking is a hassle unless you want to pay for valet parking which at the prices of food and beverage should be complimentary. I guess since it is a tourist type restaurant, they are not concerned with return business. The restaurants that I go to on a regular basis are more interested in Custer satisfaction and never charge for valet parking. But for a special occasion or party, Maggiano's is ok.

My son was in from Chicago & wanted to go to Maggianos . It was his first choice which surprised me, since he can go there anytime at home. He likes it because he thinks it is priced right .If you have a lot of people you get very tasty food & a lot of it We had the family dinner for 4 although there were 3 of us .The dishes we he had were very good and some of them were even excellent such as the egg plant Parmesan and certainly the zucchini fries were winners. All the dishes were really very good -tilapia & Chianti beef with pasta included We had doggie bags so we should continue our dinner out at home for many days.Wwe W

I went with a friend to Maggiano's (at Boca Town Center Mall) for lunch yesterday while out Christmas shopping. What a great lunch! We both got one of the "Classic Pasta" selections and with each lunch entree they give you an entree of your choice to take home with you, does not have to be the same. I got the lasagna and my friend got the angel hair pasta with pomodoro sauce and sausage. Both were excellent and we were both very pleased. My friend got the lasagna to take home and I got the eggplant parmesan. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, great food and good value.

I love, love, love Italian food. I did not get the Rigatoni D even though everyone raved about it even before we got there. I ended up getting a seafood pasta which was just OK, in my opinion. I think Carrabbas does a better job at seafood pasta, when it comes to chain Italian restaurants. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes though. Service was good. We had a party of 9 people without reservations for dinner and they were very accommodating.

Okay. Gluten free people, GO HERE. Ask for Caesar and pretty much be able to create your own custom meal. After your tastebuds have laid down and died of pleasure after eating, give him a hug and ask for dessert. I'm not going to spoil it and actually describe what we got for dessert, but please just trust me. It was incredible. And we had leftovers for days. The waiter was a little surly at the start of service, but he warmed up a bit by the end. Guys, my boyfriend had been talking about going here for three years. Three *years*. I was skeptical but we decided to drive the half-hour from Ft. Lauderdale to Boca because he just would not shut up about it. And oh my goodness, it was so worth it. The best GF pasta I've ever had (corn based, not sticky rice based like you find at the grocery store). And the kindness and concern we got from the kitchen staff just blew my mind. The chef (his name's Cesar) actually comes out to your table and talks about your options with you. I loved it. Go, go, go.

The lighting is too bright. I had a great waiter though. He suggested a great meal. The service was good. A bit crowded...I felt like I was placed in someones home having dinner cooked by their grandmother. Awkward but I believe that's the concept. Def use HD makeup and wear something slightly stunning because the entrance is fabulous and you can feel like a star.

Well we came to Maggiano's in Boca Raton because I had a gift certificate. We arrived fo a very early dinner, or very late lunch actually. Having not been here before, we walked through the door expecting someone to greet us, but there was nobody in sigt. We flagged a staff person down and they pointed to the unmanned Mater D station. Very shortly we were seated in the dining room in one of the booths. Shortly we were greeted by our server Barry who took our drink order of two glasses of ice water, one with lemon, one without. He arrived with two glasses of ice water, no lemon. He took our order of two Veal Cutlet Parmesan and disappeared. It took about whatfelt like ten minutes to bring the lemon and by then my glass was nearly empty. It was several more minutes before he came by and filled it, but not until I asked again. I know it's only water, but that's not the point. At $24.50 a plate, these details really matter to me. It was not busy, so some attention would have gone a long way. The food was served in a timely manner by a member of the staff, not Barry. It was truly of excellent quality and a large enough portion that I had to take some home. I would rate the service at 3.5 stars, due to the attentiveness of the support staff which boosted my rating of Barry at 3. The food gets a solid 4.5 stars. I could eat this all the time. The combined score, 4 stars.

*Eggplant parmesan is DELICIOUS (best one I've had!, stacked thick like lasagna and served with spaghetti) and you get to bring home a portion for free! The mozzarella marinara is delicious as well. I was disappointed they changed their parmesan cheese in the caesar salad which was always my favorite. The bread with oil and parmesan is delicious. Only thing that really sucks is the wait, but that's like most places in Boca.

I like this place. I used to frequent the one in Tyson's Corner in VA. I love the family style offering and all-you-can-eat made fresh, not a buffet, is always a bonus. Single order dishes are nice and price is reasonable. Mussels are good, Tuscan. Chicken and spinach manicotti is good. My family always has a good time and an enjoyable meal here. Staff is outstanding. I'm sorry I forgot our waiters name but he went out of his way to make sure my 9 year old nephew had a good time.

I was there last night. The Hostess should learn to smile, seat people nicely and tell them to have a good meal. She shouldn't throw the menus down and walk away. We waited a long time for our waiter but for us that's fine the table next to us was complaining. Our waiter was a young guy with a big smile on his face. I had no clue about the menu change of family style to whatever, we knew what we wanted and figured if we were only two people how much could we eat anyway. We ordered mushrooms, Caesar salad, rigatoni D with whole wheat pasta, and chicken Marsala. Everything was just okay. The app came out with the salad. The mushrooms were okay, the salad was bagged lettuce. To me bagged lettuce has a certain taste compared to fresh lettuce and this had it. The Rigatoni D was terrible ( and that use to be my favorite) and the chicken Marsala not so good either. I'll probably avoid them again for a couple of years, not worth it for me. Also they do not give straws out for your water! If you are drinking out of a glass that glass better be real clean!!

Horrendous recent experience. I always go for the "family style" dinner which for a set rate lets you have all-you-can-eat of 2 appetizers, 2 salads and 2 pastas. When i went there recently, i was told that as of March 1 they changed their policy and no longer serve family style for less than 4 people. I was pushed into a new $ 40 set menu for 2 which costs the same as the "family style" and basically gives you half the choices without all-you-can-eat. You can imagine my disappointment when i drove 45 miles to eat there and didnt get what i came for. Nevertheless, we ate there. The next day i was still in shock over the new policy and decided to call the manager (which i did not approach during dinner as I did not want to create a scene in front of my guest). The manager let me know that it was not true, that they still served family style for 2. He gave me the impression that he wasn't really interested in my concern. I told him that i drive almost 100 miles round trip just to eat there and that one of their waiters lied about the new policy. He wasn't even interested in the waiter's name (Barry) nor was he very apologetic. Really disappointing, I dont think I will be going there anymore.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great service, great food! Love it when they have their special buy one get one to go!!

We've eaten here too many times to count! We've had small dinners, several large family functions in their private function rooms and we've also had takeout. We have never been disappointed. The food is consistently great and you're smart to order "family style." A reservation is a must. They are always busy.
(5)Eric B.

(5)Dave H.

(4)Stephanie M.

(4)James K.

This is definitely a great restaurant for parties of 4 or more. Although I saw a few tables with two people I'm gonna say stick with the family style menu and wear big pants or a flowy dress in my case. Last night I went to Maggiano's for my husbands birthday along with 2 of his friends. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We went with the Chef's Choice off the Family Style Menu at $38.95 per person. Appetizers- We started with the mozzarella marinara, crispy zucchini fritté and chopped salad. The salad by far was my favorite. It had huge amounts of avocado and the dressing was very light and sweet. The zucchini was perfectly fried and had lemon juice squeezed on top. I thought the mozzarella was extremely salty and greasy but good thing there was insane amounts of food to make up for it. Dinner- Crab & shrimp cannelloni, beef tenderloin medallions, baked ziti, and chicken parmesan (I'm stuffed just thinking about all this) I loved the cannelloni and will definitely order this again. All the rest I could live with out. The beef tenderloin was ok but we asked for it medium and it was well done. We ordered another and the second was better. Still over cooked but improvement. Chicken parmesan was too salty for me. Ziti was ok but nothing spectacular. Dessert- chocolate zuccotto cake, lemon cookies and Nonna's toasted pound cake. Omg! The pound cake comes with banana slices that have hard caramel on top like creme brulee. They are a must try. The cake it self was dry but you should get the dessert for the bananas, chocolate sauce and ice cream alone. I only had a bite of the chocolate cake which was very rich. The lemon cookies were delicious and very light which was much needed after such a heavy meal. Service was friendly but very very slow. You have to finish each dish before you order an additional but with 3 huge dudes who eat fast it was kinda annoying because the turn around is so slow. We were there for over 3 hours and only got seconds on the beef and chicken which are both very fast dishes. I really recommend asking for a large table if you are doing the family style dinner. We were crammed in to a round table for 4 and were practically on top of each other the entire time. Not comfortable at all. If you want variety and need to please a crowd this is the place to go. If you are ready for a carb overload this is where you will find it. Does Maggiano's have the best food, No but you will have a good time and everyone will leave stuffed.

very disappointed was there a year ago for dinner was very good.

Great food at great prices as always! Thoroughly fun dining experience just as we expected. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a great Easter lunch at Maggiano's. I love the family style menu!! So much food. We will be back for another great meal!

I am not a big fan of chain italian restaurants but my father in law requested it for his birthday. To my surprise the food was pretty good, tomato sauce pretty tasty. I had the chicken parm and tasted my fiancé's seafood cannelloni, both pretty good. Great deals like buy one get one free for take out.
(4)Tyler B.
Best italian restaurant. They are great! Great service, clean place, great food and prices! I'll definitely be back!!

Overall not bad. The bar was friendly with speedy app and wine service. Fried zucchini was unremarkable but good, but the sauce it came with had me ordering up some bread so I could dip it in. The stuffed mushrooms started off good, but there is some sort of fish stock used in the sauce which is not mentioned on the menu, and that ruined it for us after a bite or so. Fortunately others at the table enjoyed it. While I didn't try it, the calamari was reported to be quite tasty, not chewy and well seasoned. The mushroom ravioli was quite tasty, however it was quite cheesy and the Alfredo was just too much. Next time I will order the same, but with marinara. The portion was OK, no complaints but it was unusual considering the size of most dishes I saw there. The salmon was a sizable portion and reported as very well cooked and delicious. The shrimp fra diablo was a massive portion with a lot of shrimp, and the sauce was very buttery (in a good way.) The desserts were a mixed bag. The apple frittata was spectacular. Crispy, warm and full of flavor, and topped with a generous dollop of not quite premium but tasty ice cream. The crems brûlée was cold, but otherwise delicious and generous. Nonna's pound cake was the big disappointment of the evening. Advertised and warn, moist and buttery, it was cold, dry and tasted of refrigerator. Maybe we got yesterday's leftovers? Served with caramelized bananas that were caramelized on the top and raw on the bottom, a slower cook in the pan would have made a big difference. There was a pool of fudge in the plate that probably would have been better in a sidecar. The service was a highlight. While a bit surly, our waitress was accommodating and prompt, but didn't rush us a single second. She seemed to know the menu well, and while not friendly was very polite. We had a bottle of wine, and it was priced as expected for this class of restaurant, at about 250% retail. I would order it again, but if I desired a very good bottle, I would just pay the cork charge and bring my own. All in all, I look forward to my next visit, but will adjust my ordering accordingly.

Service is great, food is above average, and desert is amazing!

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! The Host? extremely ARROGANT. The MANAGEMENT extremely RUDE They took too long to seat us... Then food was too salty, Hair in our food Gross, we ended up eating after dinner at a fast food bc a Nice dinner It Was NOT!!!!!! Never Going back!!!

Being Italian, I am very discriminating about Italian food. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

(4)Thais F.
Food is great. I had mussels for an appetizer and it was spot on ... I had so much food that I didn't need to cook for 2 days, which is great for me since I work all day and my husband needs to eat whatever is left in the fridge that I make the night before for lunch ...
(4)Ashley V.
Great place and atmosphere! The absolute BEST cheesecake ever!!! Only reason not 5 is because we had to get silverware from neighboring table.
(4)Corinne M.
This place is awesome!!!! Between the live love music, the dancing and amazing food it can't be beat!!! Defiantly coming back!

(4)Ivette R.
(5)Harry S.
(5)Adam R.
Always solid southern Italian fare. It's not really inexpensive but for the amount of food they give you its definitely worth it. Try the lasagna or even one of the lighter dishes like the ziti with turkey sausage.
(3)David K.
The food here is great. The wait can be long during the dinner rush. I like this place and the average meal per person is about $15-20. Only one problem with this place is the noise (if it is busy, it can be so loud you can barely hear the person next to you)
(4)David K.
(5)Sam C.
(1)Eileen J.
(4)Lou G.
This place is always packed... Reservation is a must, especially for dinner. With that being said, service was still excellent! Drinks always refilled and servers always attentive. Be prepared to be served with an insane amount of food! (Not complaining) Food was great! I love the whole family friendly atmosphere!
(4)Harvey S.
first let me say the closest this place comes to italian dining is its name. now let me say that the statement, "cooked to order" is nonsense.three of us went to dinner there last night and the waiter decided to tell us this is not your ordinary chain restaurant i should also say that the food wasn't terrible but when you order stuffed mushrooms a salad and two orders of eggplant parmision and a lobster and macaroni special it shouldn't all come out in five minutes it was like they were throwing the food at us.it was loud and boisterous to say the least.the gimmick is, if you order certain dishes they give you another one to take home. i personally like to eat really good food and not take anything home.if you want good italian food pass this place up. i will.
(2)Mikie C.

(4)Rodger L.
Typical chain Italian food - meh
(2)Michael F.
(5)Dominic M.

Food was good and service was good, but nothing to write home about.

(4)Larry J.
Two people birthday celebration. The chef comped for lemon cookies and candles, a nice touch. Middle of Christmas week very busy, as usual. The crème brûlée was wonderful. The table only partially set when seated. The waitress didn't notice until much later. In fact, after I had made requests from other staff. In a restaurant where the waitress primarily takes orders, we thought Christina was indifferent to us. A true test, however of a restaurant, is the food. No complaints on my partners pasta, a good-sized portion of which was taken home. My salmon was perfectly prepared. I do however prefer rice, or something else to orzo, But that's just me.

(5)Sean W.

(4)Dayna L.

Come here often. We live in Boca. It took us 3 hours to leave on a slow night and tonight was my wife's birthday....
(2)Keith H.
(1)Niki P.
This place is great. Love the eggplant parm. Prices are reasonable, service is great and food is great. I live about 40 minutes away but it's worth the travel.
(5)Geovanni M.
I've eaten at other Maggiano's in other cities and I was happy when I found this location because their italian food is delicious. We had an excellent time from the bartender at the bar which recommended some good beers to the waiters that took care of us.
(5)Mike J.

(3)John And Shel G.

(1)Joe B.
Food is very good. Service is terrible, on multiple visits we sat at our booth for over 15 minutes without anyone greeting or acknowledging us. Don't be surprised if you have to walk up to the hostess as the other waiters will ignore your existence.
(2)Harvey D.

The one in Orlando is much better!
(3)Rich S.
(3)Christina S.
Great chocolate cake! For dinner, menu doesn't offer a lot other than Italian, so everyone better feel like it!
(3)Greshka P.

(5)M D.
(2)Guil M.
(4)Jamie C.
Mediocre Italian food. Honestly Carrabba's has way better food for the same price. The gnocchi with vodka sauce wasn't very good, the lobster carbonara was dry and not worth the money. The mussels were good. The best dish was the spaghetti with meatball on the kids menu.
(3)Lauren L.
Thre were five of us who went to margianos to diviner to celebrate a birthday. We ordered several appetizers and meals to share. The same night we all of got very ill. We think it was food poisoning. I would not eat there again.
(1)zendick h.
This is the "family style" version of Olive Garden, thats probably not a compliment ;) Place packs large groups into too small of an area, wait staff touch patrons, lean across table to serve (at two different occasions an employees rear end was rested on my back while they served an adjacent table) Food is hit or miss.
(2)Scott L.
Much better than the typical chain restaurant Italian food (see Olive Garden) and great portions. Good place for large group dining.
(4)Ana B.
(4)Morgan C.
been here many times . discovered it on my many Orlando trips. this one is in Boca. the restaurant is nice and great ambience. they have a great dining room but i prefer the first come first serve area y the bar with a piano and bar. place is awesome. i still try to see how this could be a chain corporate restaurant. the food , is very good and prices are reasonable. they have family style servings and specials that even give you an extra dish to take home wow. service is good could be slow but thats only when its very busy. the place is very busy, but they do a great job. now , the food , wow i mean amazing , the mozzarella appetizer is amazing. the other dishes that stand out is the veal wow marsala parmesan piccatta. also they have specialty dishes like rigatoni d s and hummm the farfalla. dessets imagine the best ! fair pours on wine guys i mean it and those big glasses we all love. fried ravioli is so good i almost ran off to the kitchen to demand more. for the money its an awesome place.
(5)Ben B.
(4)Elizabeth P.
(3)amy m.
Enjoy this place every time I've been to it. The portions are great for sharing and the food is always flavorful and delicious. The chicken Marsala is great and so us the apple pie dessert.
(4)daniel c.
I love the Maggiano's!!!! One of the best italian food that I got in US!!! The mamma's lagsana was delightful. The plate are big and if you don't wanna to eat half of the world is possible to share.... Share a pasta for $12?!?!? Someone need something more?
(5)Justin P.
(4)Gary S.
(4)Louie S.
Great. The desert sampler was amazing The prices were so reasonable for this good food
(4)Joe M.
Verty noisy so better for a group. Definitely not a date night place. Solid Italian food with knowledgeable but somewhat over worked waiters. Decent wine list but skimpy on the pour. One of the better chain Italian restaurants.
(3)V'arian I.
We were back here recently and while our dining experience was similar to the last time, I forgot my credit card here, only realizing it the next day. When I called, they had confirmed they still had it and seemed to have put it away in a safe place - thanks guys!
(3)Jason P.
This place is great if you want fattening portions that are far too large for any normal person to eat. The food is par, but if I go out I would like something good.
(1)Jerry B.
(2)Geoffrey K.
(4)Desi-lou S.

(4)CYNTHIA C.

I loved it. Go, go, go.
(5)Steven S.
Excellent food and service. Not gourmet and not intimate - in fact very noisy. But who cares? Oh, and huge old fashioned sign.
(4)Cookie C.

(4)Ryan C.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Good ambiance, reasonable prices and huge portions.
